Destination Unknown is a nomadic non-profit organisation that offers a working period for young artists in locations which are temporarily vacant. Artists are invited to react on the environment of the location with creative site-specific ideas and interventions.
DU2023 will take place in the former Philips factory in Roermond.
During the working period of three months art professionals will be invited for workshops and conversations with the participating artists. Every artist will receive an artist’s fee of €1.600,- for creating new work that will be exhibited during the exhibition weekend at the end of the working period. In addition, every artist will receive a working budget and a travel allowance.
Artists who graduated between 1 and 5 years can apply by filling in the form below. Please send for a porfolio, artist statement, CV and motivation or project proposal.
